Adventurous Fall Family Photos in The Northern California Mountains

These fall family photos with Brenna, Hunter, and Ellis were full of so much adventure, fun, and epic views at Lassen Volcanic National Park! Something that I don’t showcase often enough is my love for family photography. This young adventurous family was right up my alley. There’s just something about the idea of a adventuring with a family for a playful and woodsy family session, and photographing this beautiful family was perfect! There wasn’t a better backdrop than the mountains of Lassen Volcanic National Park here in Northern California.

Playful & Adventurous Fall Family Photos at Lassen Volcanic National Park

There was a light storm coming during this session. The darker skies and fall vibes were perfect. Brenna and Hunter chose the best outfits to wear for their fall family photos and they coordinated perfectly against the natural backdrops and mountains in the background, and Ellis’ little sweatshirt with the acorn, mushroom, and leaf made for the perfect fall outfit! I loved all of the different backdrops we were able to achieve out in the mountains of Northern California. From the mountain peaks, open fields, stacked wood logs, and the lake, everything about this session turned out perfectly! When you do a family session with me, the experience will be fun and adventurous. We aren’t about the stiff and rigid family photos over here. I’m here to capture you as you are, and the connections you share together as a family.
