Booking a package with me will be more than just business. I work hard to befriend all of my clients, learn your communication styles and expectations of your event. All of my packages include informational communication up until your event and after delivery of images. I love to help organize timelines, lend vendor recommendations, and advise on styling. All clients get a customized experience based on their wedding or event with as much direction as they need. The day of your event, I always bring energy and guidance so everyone has a wonderful time, while looking their best!

A couples session is great opportunity for us to get to know each other before your event. I love taking this time to learn your communication styles and connect on a personal level.
Couples whether they are just dating or already married, are always welcome to book a session too! Because what is more fun than locking in core memories, while dressed to impress, in an epic location?!

Family sessions hold a special place in my heart. I love helping parents and kids connect. Laughing, running and hugging in beautiful locations. Family sessions give me a little something to look forward to when weddings are out of season or taking up my mind. One of my greatest honors is watching wedding clients have children and include me in capturing their life events! Which brings me to maternity sessions, which are always a beautiful breath of fresh air!

Email? Phone Call? Or Coffee Date? We can make that happen to discuss your event. I love learning how you communicate, your love languages, and what your intended mood for your event is.

Proposal and planning. I require 20% of all events down to book your date. This locks you in and gives you access to vendor recommendations, timeline planning and styling guides.

Event Day. We party, take beautiful images and laugh til the sun fades. Image delivery is based on my current travel schedule and bookings.

What would you call your shooting style?
Shooting with a photojournalist eye has always been my first love. I love the small details of love in a hand touching a waist. The way sunbeam fall through a dusty window onto a grandmother waiting to see her bride. Full belly laughter with tears and hugs. The movement of a dress running through tall grass. The emotions, authentic smiles and in-between moments make me feel fulfilled.
How Many image do you typically deliver?
This is always tough to answer, because every event is different.
Typically for engagement, family, etc. shoots you can expect 100 images/hr of shooting. For weddings and events you can expect 150 images/hr if the energy level is high with a lot going on. For a calm event, with minimal people, 75/hr is average. Truly these numbers are very rough. But I always insure every client receives all images that are in-focus, flattering, and add to the overall scene of the day.
What areas of California and Oregon do you consider "in-network" and dont require a travel fee?
Most venues within 3 hours driving distance of Redding, CA. (with a few exceptions)
These include, but arn't limited to: Napa, Sonoma, San Francisco, Ashland,
Humbolt, Tahoe, Mount Shasta, Trinity's and Portland*.
*Portland is where we were married, so we gladly wave travel to visit here.
What level of editing is included with your packages?
All images are edited to my style, with attention to lighting, composition and
skin tone. I always offer basic skin retouching (i.e., visible acne, sweat, mosquitos) on images that are close up and of the "traditional portrait" style. Candids, especially from a distance, get skin retouching at my discretion. Additional advanced editing (i.e., item removal, face swapping, specialty skin requests) are outsourced to an editor for $5 an image.
