This adventurous Humboldt Redwood engagement session with Alex and Zac was full of so much energy and incredibly fun to capture. Humboldt was the perfect spot for their adventurous forest engagement photos! The Humbold Redwoods are California’s 3rd largest state park, offering over 53,000 acres to explore, meaning endless backdrop oppurtunities, such as Humboldt’s ancient redwood groves.

Alex & Zac’s Adventurous Humboldt Redwood Engagement Session

Alex and Zac are such a fun couple. It was amazing to capture them doing acro in the middle of the Humboldt Redwoods! Being able to capture something that Alex and Zac love to do together for their engagement session was so special. I think It’s always a great idea to incorporate the things you love to do together into your session and to also show off your personality as well. It’s what makes your session unique to you. Throw in a beautiful backdrop like the Humboldt Redwoods and you can’t go wrong.

After exploring and doing some acro in Prairie Creek Redwoods, we then went on to Fern Canyon. This is where we caught the most beautiful warm, golden sunset, and Alex and Zac didn’t shy away from splashing around in Home Creek together. Afterwards, we finished up their session at Sue-meg State Park with views of the Pacific Ocean during sunset. It was the perfect end to Alex and Zac’s adventurous session!
