Emily, Eric and I went into the woods of Lassen Volcanic National Park on a late fall day hoping to find some snow for some romantic and snowy engagement photos. I think mother nature heard us because quickly into the shoot, snow started to come down and eventually started dumping! It was such a beautiful afternoon in Lassen full of snow. We had this beautiful national park all to ourselves which was awesome! Exploring around the park with Emily and Eric and watching them interact together while enjoying the snowfall was so much fun. It really was such a magical and romantic engagement session.

Choosing my favorite images from Emily and Eric’s snowy engagement photos for this blog was really hard. This was such a romantic and intimate session, which is my favorite kind. I love capturing a couple in their element together and the true emotions, love, and playfulness. Almost being like a fly on the wall. Emily and Eric have a really deep connection and love for one another. You can feel even that through the photos, so capturing them was incredibly easy. They just flow together so naturally. And of course, set against a backdrop like Lassen Volcanic National Park made it even easier. I love coming here for sessions. Whether it’s a couples session or a family session, this location is perfect!
